Property Tax Estimator
Pick the taxing units that cover your address and this tool adds up what each one would charge, with the exemptions that are actually known at the state level — never a single blended "county rate."
Short answer: your Texas property tax bill is the sum of several independent calculations, one per taxing unit: max(0, taxable value − exemption) / 100 × unit rate. Select your county, city, school district, and special districts below to see your own numbers.

Exemptions used here (2025)
- School district general homestead exemption: $140,000 (Proposition 13, approved November 2025).
- School district additional exemption for homeowners 65+ or disabled: $60,000 on top of the above, for $200,000 total (Proposition 11, November 2025).
- County, city, and special-district homestead exemptions are optional and set locally per unit — we do not assume any. Check your appraisal district's exemption page for your specific units.
