Calculations run in your browser

The tax estimator, protest savings, and homestead cap calculators are plain JavaScript running entirely on your device. The only network request a calculator makes is to fetch the public tax-rate data file bundled with this site; the values you type — property values, exemption choices, selected taxing units — are never sent to a server, because there is no server-side processing to send them to.

Nothing is stored

Inputs and results exist only in your browser's memory for that page view and disappear when you close or reload the page. This site does not use local storage, session storage, or any database to retain what you enter.

No forms, no contact collection

The calculators have no forms that submit information anywhere. The Protest Kit county picker only asks the server for the PDF of the county you choose.

Protest Kit downloads

The Protest Kit is a free download. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details, and we set no cookies. Our host (Cloudflare) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and the file requested, for security and reliability.
